The Right Way vs. The Easy Way

As with most things in life, there are two ways to do things, the EASY way and the RIGHT way.

Fitness is no different.

The RIGHT way requires you to do your homework, prepare properly, show some resolve when the going gets tough and exercise your patience.

The EASY way requires none of those things.

The RIGHT way requires you to eat nutritiously, exercise consistently, discipline yourself and turn away from a life of gluttony and excess.

The EASY way requires you to look for shortcuts in the way of pills and surgery.

The RIGHT way develops character and strength.

The EASY way ensures that you stay where you are, developing nothing.

The RIGHT way is a process that transforms.

The EASY way may transform temporarily but does so with no process, no evolution.

The RIGHT way lasts for the rest of your life.

The EASY may work for awhile but will result in you eventually having to start over…and do it the RIGHT way.

It's your choice. You can either do it RIGHT or look for the EASY way out. You can either try to learn something, develop a stronger version of yourself, or stay the person that you are right now.

I'll bet that a stronger version of you sounds pretty good doesn't it?

Living a fit and active lifestyle is no where near as hard as it seems, but it isn't EASY. You are going to have to work hard, display some effort and change the way you have been doing things to this point.

So go EASY on yourself.

Do it RIGHT the first time.
